Description: I was part of a three-writer team for this manual. I wrote about half of the manual.
Pro/MECHANICA optimized sophisticated mechanical CAD designs. It had three main modules: Structure, which optimized static structural performance, Motion, which evaluated kinematic and dynamic performance of moving parts, and Thermal, which optimized thermal performance.
The manual gave an overview of the entire document set and described the anomalies and new features in Pro/MECHANICA 17. I wrote the chapters that described the new features.
The manual was part of the online documents, which the company included with the design software. Readers viewed the documents using FrameViewer, which the company also included with the design software. In addition to online distribution, the documents were published in paper form.
