Description: This manual was part of a multiple-manual set. I was a member of the two-person team for the set.
The manual set described how to use ENDEVOR/WSX, which was a configuration and data management system that enabled programmers to develop software concurrently. ENDEVOR/WSX supported the needs of programmers, project leaders, and systems administrators; the manual set covered all of these audiences.
The user's guide was for programmers, who used ENDEVOR/WSX daily. It described XECO, which was the menu-based version of the product, and it showed how to use XECO to complete tasks of basic-to-intermediate levels of complexity.
The user's guide explained tasks such as manipulating the XECO interface, creating a day-to-day workarea, checking out files, resolving check-in conflicts with other programmers, and getting information on workflow and project history. It included a list of tips and a list of solutions to common problems.
The company distributed its documents only in paper form.
