PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Company: Electric Cloud, Inc.
Audience: Mobile software developers and other DevOps team members
Authoring software: WordPress
Product: Ship.io
Product release date: June 2014
Description: This was a blog for Ship.io, which was the world's first continuous delivery solution for mobile software developers. Ship.io was SaaS-based, and it focused specifically on iOS and Android native apps. This service automated app delivery from GitHub check-in through Apple App Store/Google Play Store release by orchestrating the build, test, and deployment process. These capabilities were condensed into a centralized management platform that offered a dashboard to view the build and test status levels across all apps and development platforms.
For this product, I created a new WordPress blog, imported the content from another blog, and rebranded the content to "ship.io" to reflect a simultaneous product name change. Also, I worked with other team members on administrative issues (such as transitioning to a new domain name and setting up the 301 redirect) and rebranding logos and other graphics. In addition, I performed testing of the blog on desktop and mobile devices.
